Responsive Vimeo

Insert a Vimeo video by simply entering its ID number.
The video player has options for show/hide title, byline and fullscreen button, controls color, loop and autoplay. Autoplay should be avoided and, in any case, won't work when the page is viewed on a touch device such as an iPad or iPhone.
The video can be made responsive by checking the Full Width box in the Metrics inspector and setting the maximum width wider than the page content width. It requires the intrisic aspect ratio to be set. This is derived from …

The video file is inserted in an HTML5 container which can be styled with padding, background color and opacity, border, radius and box shadow.
As with other types of media, videos are better to be inserted in a container with a title and text description for the benefit of botht the visitors and the search engines. Widgets for this purpose can be found in the Audio-Video section.
Auto Pause
An extra control has been added to the widget for autopause. This means that, when two or more Vimeo videos are inserted on a page, the playing video will pause when another is selected to play.
