Ken Burns Effect

The full width, fixed height slider will autoplay the images with a Ken Burns effect. There are controls for setting the slide time and the transition time. The longer the slide time - the slower the Ken Burns effect.
The slider can be used on its own or overlayed with other objects. In this example, the Hero Heading widget is used with the background opacity set to zero.
Images
Although the slider can accomodate a large number of images, in practice these should be kept to a minimum since the image file size needs to be fairly large to give good quality. The images used in this demo are 1600px wide by 600px in height.
Parallax Effect
The slider has an optional parallax effect which requires checking a box and setting the "Scroll Ratio". This allows the content below to scroll over the slider at a different speed from that of the slider.
The lower the value for ratio - the slower the speed of the slide over layer.

Background Image Slider
Note that the slider can be made to fill the background by setting the height to the total height of the page. This is the sum of the heights for header, content and footer obtained from the Page insepector.
