Hero Slider

The slider has a fixed height and is used in full site applications for a banner which can be fixed in position like this example with a slide over layer widget creating the transparent background.
The slideshow can be set to autoplay with controls for slide time and transition time. The pager is optional and is used to navigate the slides when autoplay is disabled.
The slideshow background color can be set and a bottom border added as a separator. In this example, both the slider and the slide over layer have had borders added to the bottom and top respectively.
The slider has options for an overlay logo and an h1 and h2 heading. The logo is positioned at the top left and its size and position in relation to the top and left can be adjusted.
The headings are centered and can be adjusted in relation to the top of the slideshow stage. Their background opacity and padding can be adjusted.
The font can be web safe or hosted with a fallback font. The font used in this example is Exo which is Google hosted.
Parallax Effect
The banner has an optional parallax effect which requires checking a box and setting the "Scroll Ratio". This allows the content below to scroll over the slider at a different speed from that of the slider.
The lower the value for ratio - the slower the speed of the slide over layer.
