Thes widgets are for those who want to create a fully responsive blog or podcast which displays properly on all devices.
NOTE: Creating a blog or podcast with these widgets is completely different from using the EverWeb blogging system. The widgets are NOT compatible with the EverWeb blog.
Creating a blog or podcast using these widgets takes a little more effort but the results are well worth it!

Blog Post Grid

The widget creates a responsive grid of blog posts with an image, heading, description, date and a "Read More" link. It can accommodate up to 48 items
The grid is created using the EverWeb Widget API Assets List. To add a new item, simple drop an image onto the list, enter the data and drag it up to the top.

Blog Grid Show More

The responsive grid can accommodate up to 48 items - each with an image, heading, date, description and a "Read More" link. Images are downloaded on demand for a faster page download time.
The number of items to display on page load and the number of items to display when the "Show More" button is clicked, can be set for both computers and mobile devices.

Latest Posts

This is a three image, responsive grid which is used as an attention grabbing headliner for a blog or podcast contents page.
The overlay has adjustable opacity and displays a heading, description and "Read More" link. The overlay can appear at page load or animate in with variable animation delay and time.

Blog Post List

The list can be used for blog posts or podcast episodes - either as a main list below a suitable header and intro or for an index of archived material.
The list can contain up to 100 items. Each item has a heading, an optional field for author or info, date field, brief description and a "Read More" link.

Blog Image Gallery

The blog gallery widget can be used for a photo blog where a fairly large number of images need to be shown without taking up too much space.
The widget has a heading, optional date, an optional lead in paragraph, a thumbnail image with alt text which opens a single image or a lightbox slideshow and an optional caption, wrap text and some links.

Blog Sidebar Links

This layout can be used to introduce the latest blog post or podcast entry with an image with alt text, a heading, date field, brief description and a "Read More" link.
The sidebar contains info about more posts or episodes with a heading, date, description and link. It maintains the same height as the main section and the overflow scrolls.

Blog or Podcast Comments

The widget creates a responsive container for the Disqus comments engine. The container can be styled with a border and/or a box shadow and has an option to add a heading and a text paragraph.
The widget only requires the Disqus Shortname and also has options to add a page ID and URL so that comments can be specific to a certain page.

Navigation

The navigation has three functions - each of which is optional. The signup icon opens a modal window with a MailChimp sign up form, the spyglass icon opens a Google Custom Search form and the "hamburger" icon opens a drop down navigation whose main purpose is to access archives but can be used for any purpose and has a current page indicator option..

Archive Nav

The bar has three functions - each of which is optional. The signup icon opens a modal window with a MailChimp sign up form, the spyglass icon opens a Google Custom Search form and the tabs open archived pages.
The tabs can be numbered or named and the current page can be indicated with a contrasting tab background and color.

Podcast Playlist

The playlist has a bar player and can have up to 100 items. The container has a fixed height and the overflow scrolls to keep it compact.
Each item has a title which acts as a play button, author, optional date and time, a description and an optional download link tab.

Podcast Episode Bar Player

The bar player has options for a heading and an image with alt text to add more interest. The player is responsive with a maximum width setting.
It has fields for title, author, date, run time, a text description and a back link to the podcast list. There is an optional download link for allowing visitors to download the MP3 file.

Podcast Episode Circular Player

The circular player has options for a heading and an image with alt text to add more interest. The circular player has a progress bar and shows elapsed time.
It has fields for title, author, date, run time, a text description and a back link to the podcast list. There is an optional download link for allowing visitors to download the MP3 file.

Blog/Podcast MP4 Video

The MP4 video player shows a poster image on page load for a faster page download time. It has options for initial volume and fullscreen playback.
It has fields for title, author, date, run time, a text description and a back link to the podcast list. There is an optional download link for allowing visitors to download the MP4 file.

Blog/Podcast Vimeo & YouTube

The widget plays a YouTube video by default but can be switched to Vimeo by checking a box. Either type only requires the video ID to be inserted in the widget settings.
It has fields for title, author, date, run time, a text description and a back link to the podcast list. There is an optional link for allowing visitors to go to the Vimeo or YouTube site to leave comments.
